ThriftyU Advertising Specifics

Advertising on ThriftyU provides you with multiple opportunities to promote your business, products or services.

Banner Ads (1)

Rotating banner ads are displayed on a number of pages inside the ThriftyU site, including the "home" page (where visitors are taken after they login), the search and browse pages, the event calendar, articles and local announcement pages and more. Clicking the banner ads takes the visitor directly to your listing (see below).

Featured Vendor logos (2)

Up to 10 rotating Featured Vendor logos display on every page inside the ThriftyU website on the right side of the page. Clicking on the logos also takes visitors to your listing.

Newest Vendors listing (3)

For 90 days after you sign up to advertise on ThriftyU, your business name will show up in our alphabetical list of Newest Vendors. Visitors can also get to your listing from the list.

Local Tips and Articles (4)

You can submit articles and tips related to saving money, investing, smart shopping, and more. This puts you in front of our visitors as an expert providing helpful information, bringing your business credibility, respect and prospects. Articles you have provided will also show up in your listing for visitors to read.

Local Events (5)

Our Local Event calendar gives you even more exposure to potential clients by letting them know what events you are putting on or will be available at. Any events happening at your business' location will also show up on your listing.

Premium Listings (1)

Premium listings help to highlight your business and any coupons you are offering. Premium vendors are listed at the top of the Search results, the Browse Businesses listing and the Browse Coupons pages. Premium listing space is limited to 5 vendors in each category.

National Vendors (not shown)

Since ThriftyU is built around various communities, your listing, logos and banners will only be available to visitors in your local area. However, for an additional fee, you can be setup as a National Vendor, giving you access to ALL of our visitors in ALL of our communities (including future communities).

Your Listing

Your listing provides our visitors with a comprehensive look at your business, the services you offer, your contact information, upcoming events at your location, and much more.

Your company name/logo and description (1) are located at the top of the listing.
Listing Enhancers (2) can be photos of your location, your staff, your products or services or just images to help you stand out.
Location information and Get Directions (3) link are next. By clicking the Get Directions link, visitors will be taken to Mapquest where they can provide their address and get detailed directions to your location.
Contact information (4) such as phone number and email address.
If you have a menu (foods, services, rates, etc.), visitors can view it online (5).
You can also provide online coupons to our visitors (6), providing discounts for products, services and more. Visitors can view and print coupons easily.
If you host public events (7) at your location,visitors will know about them here.
The Photo Gallery (8) allows you to display photos of products, locations, advertisements and more!
